Our Start Program is designed to suit a complete beginner or someone who didn’t run for a while and would like to get back to it slowly. The program is based on walk/run intervals that allow you to build your running fitness gradually and be able to complete 5km at your own pace.

You have come to the right place and you are not alone in this situation! We have had many runners join our Go Further program as a means to connect with other runners to get that extra support and encouragement. If you are bored of the same routine, our program is designed to keep runners engaged by offering different routes, technical sessions and various terrains.

Yes. We can design a custom plan for you to meet your specific goals (taking into consideration your current fitness level, time commitment and availability). We also offer private running sessions. Please inquire for pricing information.

Absolutely! Each Coastal Crew Runner is encouraged to run at their own pace. We are a recreational running group so enjoyment, social engagement and reaching your own personal goals is our main aim. Having said that you will never be left alone at the end of the “pack”. Our Run Leader always makes sure that everyone has a partner of the same pace and stays with those who do not. In addition to that, our faster runners usually practice what is called “scooping” – they run back to scoop the slower crew members (completed with words of encouragement and praise of course!)

Absolutely! If you’ve got a bit (or a lot!) of competitive spirit going we run Event Specific programs during Australian ‘Running Season’. So if you’ve got your eyes on races such as City2Surf, Sutherland2Surf or various other events we’ll help you to get into the best running shape in time! If there is a particular event that you are interested in completing, chat with us and we can put together a plan for you.

Unfortunately, we do not offer make up sessions for missed group day runs. We do however, recommend you to run it at your own time in order to stay on track and enjoy steady progress.
